Discover Castelsaraceno

Castelsaraceno is a mountain village at over 900 metres, between the Pollino National Park and the Appennino Lucano Val d’Agri Lagonegrese National Park, at the foot of Monte Alpi and Monte Raparo.

It is famous for its Tibetan bridge «between the two parks»: opened in 2021, it is 586 metres long and hangs about 80 metres above the ground, one of the longest in the world. In the village you can visit the baronial palace, the church of Santo Spirito and the Capuchin convent.

In June the feast of Saint Anthony is celebrated with the «Ndenna», an ancient ritual in which a tree is cut and raised in the square. The rest of the year it’s the place for trails, woods and fresh mountain air.
