Fardella

An 18th-century village in the Pollino Park

Discover Fardella

Fardella stands at about 750 metres in the Sinni valley, in the Pollino National Park. It is a young village, founded between 1690 and 1693 by people from Teana seeking protection from the harsh rule of the Marquis of Missanello.

Sights include Palazzo De Salvo with its chapel of the Assunta, the mother church of Sant’Antonio di Padova (1703) and the historic fountains. Fardella is part of the Mischiglio Way together with Calvera, Teana and Chiaromonte.
