Discover Nova Siri

Nova Siri, called Bollita until 1872, is split between the old village, perched at about 350 metres, and its beach resort on the Ionian coast, on the border with Calabria. The village began as an outpost guarding the coast during Saracen raids.

At the top of the old town stands the medieval castle, around which old Bollita grew, among noble houses such as Palazzo Orioli and Palazzo Settembrini. In summer life moves down to the long sandy beach of the marina.
